Workspaces
Document and Panel Views
Trading panels within the TMS Direct platform can be viewed in different formats, depending on the chosen panel:
- As a Document – this is formatted to display a large volume of data or text. The document view takes up the entire screen and is the default view
- As a Panel – this more flexible format enables placing panels to be placed around the screen, dragging them within the workspace or dropping them outside of it, should you work on multiple screens
Customized Views

The view-defining mechanism ensures fast and ready creation of screen workspaces. These are then available through bookmarks at the top of the workspace.
For instance, you can set:
- Transaction View - to include transaction modules, charts, analyses and information used to transact your favourite instruments
- Account View - to contain your current positions, margin status, balance statements and any other piece of information regarding your account
- Analysis View - to include market reports, recommendations from TMS Brokers analysts and other leading financial institutions
Documents and Panels
Within TMS Direct, trading modules and tools can be displayed in different formats. The format you choose depends on the module.
- Documents – a format best-suited for larger tools that contain a lot of information or text. Documents fill the whole screen and form the basis of a view.
- Panels – a more flexible format that allows modules to be located around the documents, moved around the workspace and even placed outside the workspace if you work with multiple screens.
